About the role#
We are looking for an Accounting student to join our tax department for the Winter 2027 season. This internship offers hands-on experience in tax compliance and corporate tax calculations. You will work directly with our engagement teams in our Woodbury office to support client needs and gain practical knowledge of firm standards.
What you'll do#
- Assist with tax compliance preparation and completion.
- Prepare and review corporate tax calculations.
- Learn to use our tax department software and technology.
- Gain an understanding of firm policies, procedures, and professional standards.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all firm and client information.
- Develop your technical skills and initiative through assigned tasks from firm management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited university working toward an Accounting degree.
- A strong interest in starting a career in public accounting.
- Ability to work part-time, at least 20 hours per week, from January through mid-April.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills and a self-motivated approach.
- An enthusiastic, team-oriented attitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

- This role is based on-site at our Woodbury, New York office.
- This is a paid, part-time internship for the Winter 2027 term.
