About the role#
The PPG Primers Internship is a 12-week, full-time program designed to help students develop professional skills while contributing to real-world business initiatives. You will work on-site at one of our offices, plants, or research centers. The program includes mentorship, learning workshops, and networking opportunities to support your career growth.
What you'll do#
- Take on meaningful work within your field of study under the direction of a supervisor.
- Collaborate on projects that may include process improvement, research of best practices, or updating systems.
- Participate in professional development workshops and networking events.
- Engage with senior leaders through our leadership series.
- Create and deliver a final presentation to business stakeholders at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate student graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
- You are enrolled full-time in Business Administration, Analytics, Chemistry, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or Supply Chain.
- You are willing to relocate to an internship site for the program duration.
- You demonstrate an interest in a career with PPG.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred.
- You must be a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, or political asylee or refugee to apply.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship program.
- The program is located on-site in Pennsylvania and California.
- Interns work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
