About the role#
PowerCo is hiring a People Analytics Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. This role focuses on people analytics projects and cross-functional HR initiatives. You will build data assets to provide insights to HR leaders while supporting daily operations. This position is based in St. Thomas, Ontario, and requires full-time, on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to track HR domains like talent acquisition, workforce planning, and compensation.
- Collaborate with HR teams to define standardized KPIs, data definitions, and governance documentation.
- Build and optimize data models and dashboards within SAP SuccessFactors.
- Develop Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Microsoft Copilot solutions to automate business processes.
- Identify and implement automation and AI solutions to streamline HR workflows.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality audits to ensure HR data reliability.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
- Provide administrative support including presentation creation, documentation management, and tracking action items.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian post-secondary program in Business, HR, Technical Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and scenario modeling.
- Experience with Power BI and DAX fundamentals.
- Skills in data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors reporting, data models, and extraction.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Think-cell for presentation development.
