About the role#
POS Professional Office Services, Inc. is hiring a Healthcare Sales & Account Management Intern for Summer 2027. This role is based in Waterloo, Iowa. You will work directly with our sales organization to support healthcare practices across the country. This position offers hands-on experience in account management, customer service, and business development.
What you'll do#
- Research healthcare organizations to identify key decision-makers.
- Assist Account Managers with customer outreach via phone, email, and follow-up communications.
- Help develop prospecting strategies and sales cadences.
- Prepare customer presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer engagement metrics.
- Participate in customer meetings, sales training, and team strategy sessions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Graphic Design teams.
- Identify ways to improve customer experiences and internal sales processes.
- Complete special projects to support business growth.
- Assist with account reviews by gathering customer insights.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Professional Sales, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Graphic Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales, relationship building, and customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Comfort making phone calls and communicating directly with customers.
- A curious, proactive mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn new technology.
