About the role#
This internship supports the Event Services Manager with hospitality, sponsorship activation, client services, and volunteer operations for the Cadillac Championship. You will gain experience in the logistics and planning required to execute a professional tournament.
What you'll do#
- Manage communication and public relations for corporate clients and volunteers.
- Assist with the execution of the Pro-Am and Honorary Observer programs.
- Provide client services throughout tournament week.
- Participate in event pre-planning and logistics.
- Recruit volunteers through local charities and community organizations.
- Maintain the volunteer database and assist leadership with scheduling and communication.
- Oversee volunteer uniform distribution and training sessions.
- Support grassroots marketing campaigns by working with local partners.
- Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Status as a graduating senior, graduate student, or holder of a bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred majors include Sports Marketing, Management, Marketing, Communications, or liberal arts.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to think independently to solve problems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with staff, clients, and the public.
- Self-discipline regarding time management and schedules.
