About the role#
The Events Services intern supports daily operations and promotional efforts at EagleBank Arena. This is a paid, part-time, and seasonal position that offers hands-on experience in sports facility management.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-of event operations and pre-event preparations.
- Shadow managers during live events.
- Maintain the professional appearance of public and promoter-facing spaces.
- Compose and distribute monthly calendars.
- Assist with equipment setup and maintain guest service office inventory.
- Support the preparation and execution of usher staff training.
- Help build printed and digital content for event publicity.
- Maintain event history documentation and assist with research projects.
- Act as an administrative office receptionist as needed.
- Learn and use internal software systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at George Mason University.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and social media.
- Graphic design experience is preferred.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliable transportation and housing.
