About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience through mentorship. You will spend 10-12 weeks working directly on financial reporting and strategic finance initiatives. Interns are placed in either Financial Planning & Analysis or Finance Operations & Treasury based on business needs and individual fit.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial planning and analysis tasks.
- Use Excel to analyze key metrics and support decision-making.
- Evaluate financial performance across e-commerce, credit building, and credit card operations.
- Create and present ad hoc strategic financial models.
- Provide insights that contribute to company growth and profitability.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Expected graduation date between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of financial statements and models.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Interest in FinTech and the consumer credit landscape.
- Bonus qualifications include enrollment in an MBA or Master’s program, previous quantitative work experience, background in capital markets or asset valuation, and SQL proficiency.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is 100% on-site at our office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
