About the role#
As an IT Infrastructure Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting our Information Technology organization. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that mirror the responsibilities of entry-level IT staff. Interns contribute to meaningful business objectives while developing technical and professional skills for their future careers.
What you'll do#
- Support project work focused on infrastructure, collaboration technologies, systems administration, and enterprise technology solutions.
- Help implement and support technology initiatives that improve business processes and end-user experiences.
- Support initiatives that enhance productivity, collaboration, security, and data management.
- Assist with infrastructure supporting core business applications through server administration, system enhancements, operational support, and storage area networking technologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and technical concepts quickly.
- Hands-on experience using Claude Code or a similar LLM agent to help define tasks and implement solutions.
Location & details#
- Location: Pella, Iowa (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (End of May through early August).
- Compensation: $27.25 per hour.
