About the role#
As a Corporate Partnerships Intern with Peak Sports MGMT at Nicholls State Athletics, you will gain hands-on experience in sports marketing, sales, and corporate relations. This role focuses on the full lifecycle of partnership development, from identifying new leads to executing game-day activations. You will work 20-25 hours per week during the winter and spring of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn the corporate partnership sales process through a structured program.
- Research potential prospects and assist with outreach efforts.
- Prepare sales presentations and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
- Develop marketing campaigns and promotional materials for prospective businesses.
- Execute partner activations, manage signage upkeep, and support sponsor hospitality during game days.
- Maintain accurate partnership records and assist with reporting tasks.
What you'll need#
- Interest in sports marketing and corporate partnerships.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings when required.
- Enrollment in a relevant program such as Marketing or Business Administration.

- This position is located on-site in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
- The term runs from January through May 2027.
- This is an unpaid internship.
