About the role#
As a Corporate Partnerships Intern with Peak Sports MGMT at Alabama State University, you will gain hands-on experience in sports marketing, sales, and corporate relations. This role focuses on identifying and acquiring new partners, supporting sales efforts, and participating in game-day activations.
What you'll do#
- Learn the corporate partnership sales process through a structured program.
- Research prospects, assist with outreach, and prepare sales presentations.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and evaluate potential partnerships.
- Create campaigns and promotional materials to pitch to local businesses and organizations.
- Execute partner activations, manage signage upkeep, and assist with sponsor hospitality during game days.
- Maintain partnership records and help with reporting.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required.
Location & details#
- Location: Montgomery, Alabama (On-site).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through May).
- Commitment: 20 to 25 hours per week.
- This is an unpaid internship.
