About the role#
This is a part-time position supporting the Counseling department at Palo Alto University. You will assist with course preparation, research projects, and administrative tasks. The role is remote and requires approximately 10 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Support the implementation of counseling courses and service activities.
- Update course materials and clerical items in Canvas.
- Conduct literature reviews and gather research articles.
- Prepare manuscripts and presentations.
- Organize research materials and data.
- Attend administrative or research meetings and take notes.
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring the confidentiality of students and subjects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Palo Alto University.
- A bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Proficiency in APA formatting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and online survey software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- The term runs from September 10, 2026, through June 30, 2027, covering the Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Summer 2027 terms.
