This summer internship provides exposure to real-world food product development within a high-functioning R&D kitchen. Interns will gain an understanding of the concept-to-production workflow and participate in customer-facing execution. Top-performing interns may be considered for future roles within the organization.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Execute daily cleaning, dish, and reset procedures.
- Assist with prep, mise en place, and ingredient organization.
- Support product builds for pizza, pinsa, and bakery platforms.
- Assist in testing, bake evaluations, and line trials.
- Document formulas, processes, and observations.
- Support sample preparation, labeling, and shipping.
- Assist with customer visits, product cuttings, and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a culinary program.
- Strong work ethic and foundational kitchen skills.
- Willingness to perform all aspects of kitchen work.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Interest in product development.
- CIA or equivalent training is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2026 (May–August).
- Schedule: 30–40 hours per week, with occasional long days based on testing and customer visits.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
