About the role#
The Material Planning Intern will support project lifecycles by identifying, analyzing, and documenting requirements. Working alongside technical and functional teams, you will help ensure projects are completed on time while adhering to planned scope, schedule, and budget. This role involves exposure to various areas including engine demand planning, production scheduling, material procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
What you'll do#
- Create, manage, and distribute project-related reports.
- Maintain project assets, communications, and associated data.
- Evaluate, update, and monitor overall project progress.
- Perform routine analysis to ensure projects remain within scope.
- Notify the team and stakeholders of project status and any deviations in a timely manner.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS/BA or MS program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Data Science.
- Completion of at least sophomore year for Bachelor's degree candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience working on projects or within a team environment.
- Supply chain, logistics, or data management experience is considered a plus.
