About the role#
This is a paid internship opportunity for the Fall 2026 term. You will gain hands-on experience in managing production teams and equipment within a manufacturing environment. Working alongside a mentor, you will contribute to the efficiency of the facility while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of production management and equipment oversight.
- Study and apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting for your assigned area under the guidance of a mentor.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Technical Specialists, and the Maintenance team to ensure consistent production output.
- Maintain flexibility to work portions of both day and evening shifts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Operations, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management program.
- Completion of your Sophomore year of college.
- Strong technical, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with a specific focus on Excel spreadsheets and graphing.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to work at least 24 hours per week.
