About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Human Resources team at Peterbilt Motors Company in Denton, Texas. Interns will rotate through the plant HR, Safety, and Training departments, gaining exposure to various operational functions and professional development opportunities. This role is available for Winter 2026 and is a paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with proctoring mechanical assessments for shop floor applicants.
- Support various recruiting activities and assist with applicant interviews.
- Collaborate with staff to identify process improvement opportunities for existing procedures.
- Create communications materials, including event flyers, presentations, and videos.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Human Resources, Business, or related degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video editing software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking abilities, resourcefulness, and a professional demeanor.
