Junior Procurement Co-op

About the role#

This is an 8-12 month paid co-op position based in Squamish, British Columbia, starting in September 2026. As a Junior Procurement Co-op, you will support the Procurement Team across the full purchasing cycle, including stakeholder discussions, vendor management, inventory storage, and warehousing. You will work under the guidance of the Manager, Procurement and collaborate with specialists in accounting, finance, and operations to develop your skills in supply chain management and administration.

What you'll do#

• Assist the Procurement Team in the full procurement cycle from initial purchasing discussions with stakeholders and vendors.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders based on stakeholder needs and inventory requirements.
• Maintain documents and reports to administer all aspects of the order function.
• Ensure shipments are received in good condition and cross-reference deliveries with purchase orders.
• Assist with shipping, expediting, and logistics tasks.
• Support the Accounting Team by verifying service invoices for accounts payable.
• Handle shipping and receiving duties, which may include lifting, moving products for transport, and using warehouse equipment.
• Organize warehouse areas and assist with inventory counts and variance investigations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a recognized Canadian educational program that supports co-op terms, with a focus on Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
• Proficiency with MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in an active workplace environment, including walking, standing, and lifting items.
