About the role#
OTTO Engineering is hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern for the Communications division for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Carpentersville, Illinois. You will support the engineering team with technical documentation and design tasks.
What you'll do#
- Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using CREO.
- Manage Bills of Material.
- Draft Engineering Change Notices.
- Assist the team with other engineering duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a mechanical engineering program, entering your junior or senior year.
- Experience with 3D Solid Modeling.
- Good communication skills.
- A strong desire to learn.

- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
