About the role#
Onco360 is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Intern for our Louisville location. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations through direct patient communication, inventory management, and prescription processing. You will work under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure patients receive their medications efficiently.
What you'll do#
- Answer phone calls and respond to questions from patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels and ordering necessary supplies.
- Process prescriptions in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Prepare medication labels, calculate quantities, and adjudicate insurance claims including prior authorizations.
- Package and organize daily prescription orders.
- Help patients navigate co-payments and financial assistance programs.
- Provide counseling regarding the Celgene REMS program.
- Coordinate medication refill deliveries by communicating with patients and physician offices.
- Maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment by following established procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Pharmacy Intern license or permit for the state of Kentucky.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, drug names, and pharmacy terminology.
- Two years of experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, less than 30 hours per week.
- Compensation: $24.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on completed years of pharmacy school.
