About the role#
The Omni Cares Internship is a summer program designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple areas of hotel operations. You will act as a utility player, rotating through different departments based on the needs of the property. This role offers training and enrichment seminars throughout the season, with top performers considered for the Leader in Development program upon completion.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and recreation departments.
- Support various entry-level service positions across the property.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs.
- Work with your team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Attend required training and enrichment seminars.
- Adapt to changing schedules and business needs as directed by the Operations Leader.
What you'll need#
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- A willingness to learn and take on new projects.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments.
- A valid TABC permit or the ability to obtain one before your start date.
- Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean for extended periods.
