About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship for a 4-month term starting in 2027. You will join the Investments team in Toronto to support investment, finance, strategy, risk, and portfolio management initiatives. The role involves working within a collaborative team environment to contribute to real estate investment and development projects.
What you'll do#
- Underwrite real estate investment opportunities, including acquisitions and dispositions at both the asset and corporate levels.
- Perform asset and market due diligence.
- Assist in the valuation of the existing portfolio and provide asset management analysis.
- Support the transaction review process, including reviewing global transaction approval submissions and financial models.
- Participate in the research, analysis, reporting, and execution of strategic and risk initiatives.
- Prepare various memoranda and presentations for the team.
What you'll need#
- You are a 3rd-year student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or Engineering.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ARGUS DCF and ARGUS Enterprise is considered an asset.
- Ability to thrive in an evolving environment and collaborate effectively within a team.
