About the role#
This Summer Analyst position within the Canadian Asset Management team provides analytical support to the business. You will gain exposure to leasing, operations, development, and investments across office, retail, industrial, and multi-residential asset classes. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive asset values and investment returns.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytical support for leasing and capital investment decisions and tenant financial performance summaries.
- Assist in monitoring operating and leasing targets as part of the annual budget process.
- Analyze and identify budget variances on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Participate in meetings with leasing and property teams to execute key priorities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and create internal reports.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, including the creation of data analytics dashboards.
- Tour real estate assets to understand the landscape across various asset classes.
What you'll need#
- Working towards an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Data Analytics, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines.
- Prior internship experience in real estate is considered an asset.
