About the role#
Oxford Properties Group is seeking a Summer Analyst to join the Investments Team in New York for the summer of 2027. This full-time internship provides exposure to real estate private equity transactions across various asset classes and capital structures. You will work alongside internal teams including leasing, development, construction, and asset management to support the underwriting and closing of new equity and debt transactions.
What you'll do#
- Underwrite equity and debt investment opportunities across diverse asset classes.
- Prepare financial analyses, including cash flow projections, valuation and development models, sensitivity analyses, lease calculations, and budget analyses.
- Conduct market and property-level due diligence, including the review of property financials, rent rolls, third-party reports, and the preparation of sales and leasing comparisons.
- Participate in the valuation of existing equity and debt investments and assist with asset management projects such as monitoring loan activities and lease proposals.
- Prepare presentations for the investment committee and investment partners to support the approval of new transactions and strategic initiatives.
- Complete a final project involving the research and analysis of an investment opportunity to present to the Investments Team.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising senior enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for the Summer of 2027, with a preference for majors in Real Estate or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on writing and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work as a team player in a collaborative environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
