About the role#
This paid internship offers hands-on experience with our Construction Administration and Management team during the summer of 2027. You will work on civil infrastructure projects, including public utilities, heavy highways, municipal streets, airports, and water treatment facilities. You will work alongside our experienced staff to gain practical skills that complement your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Assist with construction management, administration, observation, and inspection tasks.
- Inspect work and perform tests to confirm it meets project requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Identify and avoid potential safety hazards at project sites.
- Develop skills in project documentation, client communication, and contractor management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for construction management, civil engineering, construction engineering, surveying, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving history.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Availability to work overtime hours during the summer as needed.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
- The internship takes place during the Summer 2027 term.
- Weekend work or overnight travel may be required depending on project needs.
