About the role#
As a summer 2027 engineering intern on the Water/Wastewater team, you will perform hands-on, real-world work. You will collaborate with team members and engineers on projects involving wastewater collection, treatment, and water supply. Typical assignments include work on sanitary sewer piping, pump stations, water storage tanks, and treatment facilities.
What you'll do#
- Provide project design using CAD and modeling software.
- Perform technical analysis and prepare construction documents.
- Provide construction services.
- Conduct research and write technical reports.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a degree in civil, environmental, or a related engineering field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- An ability to contribute effectively within a team.
