About the role#
As a summer 2027 engineering intern with the Water/Wastewater team, you will perform hands-on work on projects related to wastewater collection and treatment, as well as water supply, storage, and distribution. You will assist with projects such as sanitary sewer piping, water and wastewater pump stations, water piping, water supply wells, water storage tanks, and water treatment facilities.
What you'll do#
- Provide project design using CAD and modeling software.
- Perform technical analysis and prepare construction documents.
- Provide construction services.
- Perform research and write technical reports.
- Work closely with team members and engineers on active projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work well on a team.

- This is an on-site internship located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
- The position is for the Summer 2027 term.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
