About the role#
Olsson provides design services for data center campuses across the country. As a summer 2027 intern, you will work on large and complex engineering projects. This role offers hands-on experience that connects your academic studies to professional practice. You will work alongside our team to support the infrastructure that powers modern facilities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with equipment sizing, selection, and system configuration.
- Perform cross-discipline coordination.
- Develop construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Create electrical models of facility infrastructure.
- Design power, lighting, emergency power, data, and security systems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an electrical or architectural engineering program with a graduation date in spring 2028.
- Experience using Revit software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to contribute to a team environment.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Work is on-site at our offices in Fort Worth, Texas; North Kansas City, Missouri; or Omaha, Nebraska.
