About the role#
As a civil engineering intern, you will join our site design team. You will work on real projects, including retail, commercial, mixed-use, and residential developments. This role offers hands-on experience alongside our experienced engineers to help you connect your classroom learning to professional practice.
What you'll do#
- Create construction plans for site layouts, grading, stormwater, and utilities.
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to complete design tasks.
- Conduct research and write technical reports.
- Travel to job sites as needed.
- Collaborate with the team on various project types.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a civil engineering degree program.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is based on-site in either Denver, CO or Loveland, CO.
