About the role#
As a summer 2027 intern on the Data Centers Site Design team, you will contribute to complex engineering projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design critical infrastructure for large scale data centers. This role offers hands-on experience that connects your academic studies to real-world engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the creation of construction plans for project sites.
- Perform site layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Conduct research and prepare technical reports.
- Travel to job sites to support project requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, with Civil 3D experience being a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
