About the role#
As a summer 2027 civil engineering intern on the Data Centers Site Design team, you will work alongside experienced engineers on large scale projects. You will contribute to the design of critical infrastructure for hyperscale data center campuses across the United States. This internship offers hands-on experience to help you connect your academic studies with real world engineering work.
What you'll do#
- Create construction plans for site layouts, grading, stormwater, and utilities.
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to complete design tasks.
- Conduct research and write technical reports.
- Travel to job sites as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

- Position is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship for the summer of 2027.
