About the role#
As a summer 2027 civil engineering intern, you will join our Data Centers Site Design team. You will work alongside experienced engineers on complex infrastructure projects. This role provides hands-on experience and allows you to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the creation of construction plans for site projects.
- Develop site layouts, grading, stormwater, and utility designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Conduct research to support project requirements.
- Write technical reports.
- Travel to job sites to observe project progress.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.

- Locations: North Kansas City, Missouri, and Overland Park, Kansas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
