About the role#
As a summer 2027 intern on the Data Centers Site Design team, you will contribute to complex engineering projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design critical infrastructure for large-scale data centers. This role offers hands-on experience in civil engineering design and site development.
What you'll do#
- Create construction plans for site layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities.
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for design tasks.
- Conduct research and write technical reports.
- Travel to job sites to observe project progress.
- Collaborate with team members on engineering solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
