About the role#
The Account Management Operations Intern works within the ODW Logistics office in Hamilton, Ohio. This role provides support across the Operations Department and offers firsthand experience in a business environment that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. This is a full-time, 40-hour work week position, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Assist with carrier setup procedures in the Transportation Management System.
- Work with Brokerage Regional Leaders and assistants on carrier paperwork.
- Plan and execute pre-trip parameters for advance notification loads.
- Communicate carrier planning issues to Account Management and Brokerage personnel.
- Build and maintain relationships with carrier, customer, and internal brokerage teams.
- Cross-train with other departments like analytics and dispatch to learn about different industry components.
- Report unobtainable work levels to the Team Leader for Brokerage.
What you'll need#

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work unsupervised.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
- Preference for candidates working toward a college degree or holding a high school diploma.
