About the role#
ODL, Inc. is hiring a Corporate Product Management Intern to join our team in Zeeland, Michigan. This full-time, paid position offers hands-on experience in product management, including exposure to product development cycles and cross-functional collaboration. You will work on real projects that contribute to our operations and business goals.
What you'll do#
- Support competitive analysis by benchmarking our products against those of our competitors.
- Assist with product discontinuation and rationalization efforts through data collection.
- Analyze market data to find opportunities for margin improvement.
- Contribute to 2-3 active Product Development Process (PDP) projects involving glass and doors.
- Prepare and maintain product documentation, including training materials and catalog part-number codes.
- Maintain KPI tracking and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with teams across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Participate in learning opportunities to understand product management methodologies.
- Deliver a final presentation that summarizes your projects and outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- A career interest in Product Management.
- Strong skills in analysis, communication, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to take initiative and learn new tasks.
