Global Marketing Communications Co-Op

About the role#

The Global Marketing Communications Co-Op program provides students with the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting. You will work with the Global Marketing and Communications team to manage external communications, including digital media, media relations, branding, and creative development. This is a year-round, part-time position with the potential for full-time hours during the summer and academic breaks.

What you'll do#

• Manage the company website and global social media channels by performing content updates, creating posts, and supporting campaigns.
• Draft press releases and media advisories to highlight company achievements and activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to plan and execute marketing projects, including presentations, calendars, and events.
• Assist in developing communication plans for initiatives such as sustainability and recruiting to strengthen the brand with external audiences.
• Partner with the Brand Manager and Graphic Designer to utilize creative assets like infographics, videos, and animations across various channels.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or Multimedia Design.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to maintain full-time student status (12+ credits) during Fall and Winter semesters.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with a professional demeanor capable of interfacing with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with social media management, web design, photography, basic HTML, or video production is considered a plus.
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Locations: Auburn Hills, MI or Saginaw, MI.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Work Modality: Hybrid.
• Schedule: 20-32 hours per week during the academic year; potential for full-time hours during summer and breaks.
• Compensation: This is a paid position.
