About the role#
Netic is hiring interns for the Agent Platform team to work on the orchestration layer, execution harnesses, and the Agent Manager system. This role involves building the infrastructure that allows AI agents to author, evaluate, and optimize other agents autonomously. You will work with a dedicated mentor to solve complex problems in applied AI while building full-stack features that impact real customer workflows.
What you'll do#
- Build the orchestration layer to route, sequence, and supervise multi-agent workflows in real time.
- Extend agent harnesses by developing the tooling, sandboxes, and evaluation loops used to validate agent outputs.
- Contribute to the Agent Manager system, including the development of guardrails, rollback paths, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Design, code, and ship full-stack features, ranging from data models and APIs to front-end tooling.
- Collaborate on real customer workflows to identify where automated agent improvements can be applied and establish platform safeguards.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Python, specifically asyncio and FastAPI, and TypeScript, including Node and React.
- A track record of shipping full projects end-to-end, whether through school, internships, or personal work.
- An interest in multi-agent systems and how they coordinate state, tool calls, and failure recovery.
- The ability to tackle ambiguous problems where established best practices do not yet exist.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Mathematics.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: 12-week internships available between Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time and paid position. Sponsorship is not provided.
