Apply NowAbout the role#
Netic is seeking Software Engineering interns to join the Agent Platform team. You will work on the core systems that enable AI agents to build, test, and improve themselves. This role focuses on the orchestration layer, execution harnesses, and the Agent Manager system, which allows agents to autonomously author and optimize other agents. You will be paired with a dedicated mentor to guide you through your project end-to-end.
What you'll do#
- Build the orchestration layer by designing and shipping systems that route, sequence, and supervise multi-agent workflows in real time.
- Extend agent harnesses by developing the tooling, sandboxes, and evaluation loops used to validate agent outputs.
- Contribute to the Agent Manager system, including implementing guardrails, rollback paths, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Design, code, and ship full-stack features for the agent platform, ranging from data models and APIs to front-end tooling.
- Work directly with real customer workflows to identify edge cases and translate them into platform safeguards.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Python (asyncio, FastAPI) and TypeScript (Node, React).
- A track record of shipping full projects from end-to-end, whether through school, prior internships, or personal projects.
- An interest in multi-agent systems, including how they coordinate state, tool calls, and failure recovery.
- Ability to tackle ambiguous problems where established best practices do not yet exist.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Mathematics.
