About the role#
We are looking for a student to join the E-Series engineering team as a part-time contractor. You will work on maintaining our datacenter, running tests, and writing automation scripts for our product line. This role provides hands-on experience with product development and deployment in a real-world setting.
What you'll do#
- Work with scrum teams and test engineers to build and maintain hardware configurations.
- Help validate customer use cases and ensure new features integrate correctly.
- Manage our lab environment by setting up equipment and troubleshooting issues.
- Develop and refine automated testing processes.
- Run both manual and automated tests.
- Stay updated on industry practices and technologies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an educational or professional program.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Bash.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, BitBucket, and VSCode.
- Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

- Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week, 5 days per week.
