Junior Credit Analyst

About the role#

Nesto is seeking a Junior Credit Analyst to join the commercial mortgage team in Vancouver for a Fall 2026 seasonal contract. This position offers the opportunity to work with asset management technology and gain experience alongside commercial mortgage professionals.

What you'll do#

• Conduct risk analysis on fixed income products secured by commercial real estate debt.
• Manage the collection and filing of financial information required for annual client reviews.
• Maintain industry research and sector databases to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide research and formatting support for industry reports and team presentations.
• Assist with special projects and team-wide initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary program in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize complex data.
• Proficiency in Excel for building organized spreadsheets.
• Ability to effectively communicate results and the logic behind your work.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
