About the role#
The Security Communications team manages strategic messaging for Information Security, Security Governance and Risk, and Fraud and Global Security. We create awareness campaigns, executive messaging, videos, and engagement initiatives to help employees understand security risks and adopt secure behaviors. As a Summer Associate, you will work directly with this team to gain experience in storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and security awareness.
What you'll do#
- Lead a 6-8 week pilot program to increase visibility and engagement across the Security organization.
- Develop eNewsletter articles, short-form videos, graphics, and other employee-facing content.
- Create and execute communication plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners, including Marketing and Human Resources.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
- Measure audience engagement and summarize outcomes, metrics, and recommendations in a presentation to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Advanced copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills for long and short form print and video content.
- Strong storytelling and messaging skills tailored to diverse employee audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and strong organizational skills.
- Interest in pursuing careers in internal audit, compliance, risk management, security governance, or cybersecurity.
- Coursework or experience in audit, risk management, compliance, internal controls, or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks such as COSO, NIST, FFIEC, ISO 27001, or COBIT.
- Experience using data analysis tools like Excel, Power BI, or SQL.

- Term: 12-week program from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Locations: Vienna, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida.
