About the role#
The Security Project Management team supports business decisions through project planning, execution, and reporting for Security and Fraud initiatives. As a Summer Associate, you will manage project deliverables, timelines, and communications while partnering with business stakeholders and senior project leads. This 12-week internship runs from May 2027 to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning, execution, and reporting of projects to ensure milestones are met on schedule.
- Maintain project schedules, action item logs, risk trackers, and project documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture notes, and track follow-up actions.
- Develop and distribute project status reports and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor project progress and escalate risks, issues, or schedule impacts.
- Partner with business, technology, operations, and vendor teams.
- Assist with resource planning, budget tracking, and project financial reporting.
- Support Agile and SAFe delivery practices, including sprint planning.
- Maintain project artifacts, governance documentation, and audit-ready records.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior, senior, or master’s level student.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to create and maintain project documentation, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience using Power BI and PowerPoint to analyze data.
- Experience using Asana and Azure DevOps.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Locations: 5510 Heritage Oaks Dr, Pensacola, FL or 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA.
- This position is paid.
