About the role#
The Consumer Loan Experience Management team works to increase engagement, loyalty, and member value throughout the auto lending lifecycle. As a Summer Associate, you will identify best-in-class experiences as members transition from application to loan servicing. You will use internal member data analytics and vendor data to find efficiencies and pain points. This 12-week program runs from May 2027 through August 2027 and offers the chance to support strategic portfolio goals while developing your analytical and critical-thinking skills.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with functional areas to develop and maintain performance metrics, measurements, and targets.
- Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to promote data-driven decisions.
- Evaluate competitor data and industry trends to understand the current competitive posture.
- Design dashboards, reports, and thresholds to monitor business status and fluctuations.
- Identify and assess business strategies, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
- Synthesize analysis results to make recommendations based on internal and external considerations.
- Manage projects from concept through planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation.
- Collaborate with business units and senior management to conduct needs assessments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree from an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation.
- Proficiency with data and analytic tools such as PowerBI, Databricks, SQL, SPSS Modeler, R, or Tableau.
- Comfort working with large datasets and telling stories with data.
- Strong strategic, critical, and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial services or payments is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Work is performed in a hybrid capacity.
- You will report to leadership at either the Vienna, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida campus.
- Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
