About the role#
The Military Affairs & Strategic Partnerships (MA&SP) Insights & Impact team uses data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and identify opportunities to deliver value to our members. As a Summer Associate, you will join a 12-week program designed to provide hands-on experience through impactful projects. You will contribute to team operations and help translate data into actionable insights that shape departmental strategy.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports that measure the impact of MA&SP initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Design and test Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio agents to improve workflow productivity.
- Create documentation and training materials to help users utilize dashboards and AI tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Contribute to the daily strategy and analysis of the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in business analytics, data science, or business administration with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation.
- Proficiency with data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Azure Data Studio, SQL, Python, or R.
- An interest in AI and emerging technologies, including a willingness to develop Microsoft Copilot solutions.
- Comfort working with large datasets and presenting findings to an executive audience.
- Ability to work independently and think creatively.

- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks, May to August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Locations: Vienna, Virginia, or Pensacola, Florida.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
