Intern - Year Round (IT Reporting & Analytics)

About the role#

This year-round internship provides the opportunity to work with the IT Reporting & Analytics team. You will compile, analyze, and measure data to prepare insightful reports and presentations for various service areas. This role allows you to apply academic knowledge to hands-on projects, develop professional skills, and gain insight into business, technology, and organizational procedures. You will work in a collaborative, team-driven network while receiving guidance from management.

What you'll do#

• Perform data analysis to identify and analyze opportunities for continual service improvement.
• Create strong visualizations, including reports, charts, and graphs.
• Execute day-to-day tasks and special projects within established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Interact with multiple departments and participate in a collaborative team environment.
• Develop technical and soft skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
• Experience with data analysis, business analysis, or process re-engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically intermediate knowledge of Excel formulas and pivot tables.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience documenting, editing, and reviewing processes.
• Dependability and a commitment to process standards and company policy.
• Positive attitude with effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desired: Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, dashboard development, or business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Location & details#

• Location: Vienna, Virginia.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (minimum 20–25 hours per week, flexible based on school schedule).
• Requirement: Must be currently enrolled in college-level courses or a degree-seeking program for the duration of the internship.
