    About the role#

    As an Exhibitor Services Intern, you will support the team responsible for the exhibitor experience at the NAB Show. You will work with the Manager, Exhibit Services to handle customer service, logistics, and on-site operations. This role involves interacting with companies ranging from emerging innovators to established brands in the media and technology sectors. You will gain practical experience in event operations and cross-functional collaboration while seeing how a large-scale trade show moves from planning to execution.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide professional assistance to exhibitors via phone, email, and Zendesk.
    • Respond to inquiries about registration, ticketing, booth logistics, and show services.
    • Coordinate with our registration partner to resolve exhibitor requests.
    • Track customer interactions to identify recurring questions and areas for improvement.
    • Support exhibitor and sponsor communications, including website content, confirmation materials, and deadline reminders.
    • Draft and edit pre-show materials, training resources, and customer communications.
    • Deliver concierge-style support for VIP and First Timer programs.
    • Assist with pre-show and post-show logistics, including Show Management shipments and tracking exhibitor submissions.
    • Partner with internal teams to resolve exhibitor needs and prepare on-site resources like staff guides and floor manager materials.
    • Assist exhibitors and attendees on-site with registration, logistics, and real-time service issues.
    • Compile feedback and recommendations following the show to improve future processes.

    What you'll need#

    • High school diploma required, with some college coursework or recent graduation preferred.
    • Availability of 25 to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from February through April 2027.
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, event coordination, or a related field.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of clients.
    • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Experience with Zendesk or other customer service platforms is a plus.
    • Previous experience with trade shows or events is preferred.

    • This position is located in Washington, DC.
    • This is an on-site internship for the Winter 2027 term.
    • This role is paid and is not a full-time position.
