About the role#
As an Attendee Services Intern, you will support the planning and execution of the NAB Show. You will work with the Manager of Attendee Services to handle registration, pre-show communications, and on-site logistics. This role offers experience in customer service and large-scale event operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide professional support to attendees via phone and Zendesk.
- Coordinate with our registration partner to solve attendee issues.
- Create and distribute FAQs, guides, and other resources.
- Test registration pages and website content for accuracy.
- Help develop the pre-show staff guide and training materials.
- Manage supply orders for registration materials like badge stock and staff gear.
- Organize the pre-con meeting and review requests for ADA assistance.
- Assist attendees on-site with registration, logistics, and real-time questions.
- Compile feedback and observations after the show to help improve future events.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma. Some college coursework or recent graduation is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service or event planning.
- Availability to work 25 to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from February through April 2027.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Zendesk or a similar customer service platform is preferred.
- Ability to remain professional, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.

- This is an on-site internship based in Washington, DC.
- The term runs from February through April 2027.
- This is a paid position.
