About the role#
We are looking for a People Operations Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work directly with the People Operations Specialist to learn the fundamentals of the field. This role involves supporting our day-to-day functions and owning specific projects from start to finish. You will help build out new processes, optimize our onboarding experience, and drive employee feedback initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Provide operational support for People Operations initiatives and team culture efforts.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including managing welcome communications and scheduling.
- Create, update, and maintain internal wikis, FAQs, and self-serve resources.
- Build, schedule, and compile feedback surveys to measure and improve the employee experience.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an empathetic and professional approach.
- High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, or HR management software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized.
- Preference for candidates with previous internship or leadership experience, an interest in aerospace startups, or curiosity about AI tools.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mountain View, California.
- The internship occurs between May and September 2027.
- This position is paid: $40/hour for Bachelor's students, $45/hour for Master's students, and $50/hour for PhD students.
- This role requires access to export-controlled information. You must be a U.S. person or eligible to access such information under U.S. government regulations.
