About the role#
The Fall Nashville Tour Marketing Internship at mtheory is a 15-week, part-time program running from September 7, 2026, to December 18, 2026. This role supports artist managers and marketing associates with daily operations, tour logistics, and campaign development. Interns are expected to work a maximum of 15 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support marketing associates and client managers with daily marketing tasks.
- Create BandsInTown blasts and geo-targeted emails for upcoming shows.
- Maintain tour ticket trackers and update show listings on BandsInTown, Songkick, and Seated.
- Conduct artist research, including social network analysis, music platform analysis, touring history, and online property reviews.
- Participate in marketing meetings to help map out creative and social media campaigns.
- Create and manage artist one-sheets, press materials, and other promotional assets.
What you'll need#
- A strong passion for music, artist management, and the touring industry.
- Comfort using digital platforms and analytics tools such as Spotify for Artists, Pandora AMP, BandsInTown, Songkick, and Seated.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work as a self-starter who takes direction well but operates independently.
- Adaptability and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, Psychology, Graphic Design, Art, or Journalism.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and operates on a hybrid schedule.
- Interns must have access to a reliable computer and internet connection.
- This is a paid internship, and college credit is available.
