mtheory is seeking a Content Marketing Intern to support artist managers and marketing associates in Nashville. This part-time, paid internship focuses on developing digital content to help artists connect with audiences across social and streaming platforms. You will assist in brainstorming campaigns and executing marketing initiatives while gaining exposure to artist development and the digital music landscape.
What you'll do#
- Support marketing associates and client managers with daily operational needs.
- Create and edit visual and written content for the artist roster.
- Conduct research, including social network, music platform, touring history, and online presence analysis.
- Participate in marketing meetings to map out creative and social media campaigns.
- Utilize tools for graphic design and video editing to produce engaging assets.
What you'll need#
- A creative and proactive approach to storytelling in the music industry.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software such as Canva, Photoshop, or Capcut.
- Ability to perform investigative analysis and brainstorm content ideas.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to take direction well while working independently.
- Previous industry internship experience is beneficial.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee (Hybrid).
- Term: May 26, 2026 – August 27, 2026 (15 weeks).
- Commitment: Part-time, maximum of 15 hours per week.
- Requirements: Access to a computer and reliable internet is required. College credit is available but not required.
