About the role#
mtheory is seeking a part-time Marketing Analytics Intern for the Fall 2026 term in Nashville. This 15-week program runs from September 7, 2026, to December 18, 2026, requiring a maximum of 15 hours per week. This is a paid, hybrid position that requires access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
What you'll do#
- Perform streaming analysis for artist campaigns using platforms such as Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, Chartmetric, and Soundcharts.
- Prepare music release and fan discovery reports to support team decision-making.
- Analyze listener behavior, playlist placements, and digital platform metrics to inform campaign strategy.
- Monitor trends across digital platforms and music communities.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in the music industry, streaming analytics, and data-driven artist growth.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and report data using Google Sheets or Excel.
- Curiosity about music consumption patterns, listener behavior, and streaming trends.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous internship or academic experience in music, analytics, or digital media is a plus.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Data Science, Media Studies, Communications, Statistics, Business Administration, Psychology, or Graphic Design.
