About the role#
MPR Associates is hiring junior and senior students for paid Summer 2026 co-op engineering positions. This role offers the chance to work alongside industry experts on technical projects across the electric power, federal services, and health and life sciences sectors. You will work on-site at one of our office locations.
What you'll do#
- Perform thermal hydraulic, structural, and electrical analysis.
- Contribute to product development tasks including mechanical and electrical design.
- Assist with asset management and business operations improvement through data analytics and process development.
- Support capital project management, planning, and oversight.
- Work with process control systems, communications, and system architecture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a relevant engineering or data science program.
- Ability to work collaboratively within engineering teams and independently on technical deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency with computer tools, including programming languages like C++ or Python.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Locations: Alexandria, VA; East Lyme, CT; Burlington, MA; Salt Lake City, UT.
- Compensation: $1,000 to $1,450 weekly, based on experience, education, and skills.
- Benefits: Paid holidays and a housing stipend for those who incur housing costs during the internship.
