About the role#
As a Real Estate Design Intern, you will work with the Real Estate, Design, and Construction team to support the planning and management of our branch and corporate facilities. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting with the design process from concept to construction. This is a 6-month internship averaging less than 30 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support the Interior Design team with daily project coordination, material boards, and sample management.
- Assist with site visits by taking measurements and documenting existing conditions.
- Develop basic furniture layouts and space planning concepts under team guidance.
- Coordinate with vendors for sample requests, deliveries, and installation scheduling.
- Track project progress, orders, and vendor communication using Smartsheet.
- Maintain the design resource library and update project documentation.
- Provide on-site support during installations, including punch list tracking.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have acquired a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, and design principles.
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel for site visits and assist with installations as needed.

- Location: West Jordan, Utah.
- Modality: Hybrid, with expectations to be in the office on Mondays.
- Status: Paid, part-time internship.
- Travel: Some travel is expected for project sites, including occasional overnight trips.
